Pricing and Discount Structure
Wilderness World will price items for a price not greater than 70% of the original MSRP. Part of the negotiation will use data from online resell retailers (such as eBay) to ensure the most profitable price point. Items may be sold online and at pop-up shop locations.
Customers can join the Wilderness World Consignment Club for $15 per year and receive 10% off all purchases until their membership expires. The discount will be divided between the consignor (5%) and Wilderness World (5%), in addition to any reduced prices.
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
Consignor Payout (subject to change based on market conditions)
Local drop off:
Items under $100 receives 40% of final price, minus any applicable club
discount (5%).
Items over $100 receives 50% of final price, minus any applicable club
discount (5%).
Items over $200 receives 70% of final price, minus any applicable club
discount (5%)
Local pick-up for items valued over $100:
Items over $100 receives 40% of final price, minus any applicable club
discount (5%).
Items over $200 receives 65% of final price, minus any applicable club
discount (5%)
Items will be sold for a maximum of 90 days with the following discount structure:
0-30 days: full price
31-60 days: 10% off
61-90 days: 15% off
Items remain the property of the consignor until they are sold. The consignor may elect to take back the property but must provide a 48-hour notice so Wilderness World can adjust the stock on the online store.
After 90 days, Wilderness World will send out an email notification of UNSOLD ITEMS. The consignor can designate to donate the item to the Last Mile Clearance, where all sales benefit the designated non-profit of the month. Consignors will receive a donor receipt for the total amount sold. If the consignor elects not to donate the item, it must be picked up or shipped (at the owner's expense) within 14 days of the 90-day notification, or it will become the property of Wilderness World and will be donated to a local charity.
Product Lifecycle
All items consigned to Wilderness World have a 90-day sales cycle. After 90 days, items may be donated to benefit the designated non-profit.
Wilderness World is not responsible for loss from fire, theft or damages. When deemed necessary, the policies of this contract may be revised at the owner's discretion after notifying the consignor.
Wilderness World reserves the right to close a consignor's account.
